About Fun4Dogs
Fun4Dogs was launched by Islana McLaughlin-Bell in 2007 and was the first training school of its kind in Jersey. Fun4Dogs offer a range of classes and activities that encompass a purely positive ethos along with scientifically proven training methods. This winning combination has made Fun 4 Dogs a front runner in professional canine training in the Island.

We offer 6 live sessions in each course; our courses are specifically designed not only to correlate with the age group of puppies attending but are also tailor-made to each group this means that no course is the same, we understand that each dog is individual and has specific motivations in learning, this will differ in breed types and take into account owner needs.
We pride ourself in our professionalism and each class is delivered by a qualified Behaviour consultant, and assisted by at least one other qualified dog trainer, and a classroom assistant, this means you know you are always getting a knowledgeable professional service, and the dog to trainer ratio allows for us to be able to deliver individual time and care to each dog and owner.
We are constantly updating our knowledge and qualifications to deliver the most current scientific evidence-based training using only positive force free methods, to ensure dogs are happy motivated and learning in a stress-free environment.
Our courses have three stages, so they grow with your dog and adapt to the changes that dogs go through within their first year of development, and our team are highly trained to spot issues early and give you help and guidance to set up for success.
Our classes are all based in the West of the Island, with Venues at Communicare St Brelades and St Peters Indoor Market (Rifle Range).

Online Tuition &
Behavioural Consults
Here at Fun 4 Dogs, we understand that encompassing all learning styles is imperative to success in the training process, as part of our puppy classes our online sessions and video tutorials are key to this process, this allows dogs to be able to learn in the comfort of their home environment without the distraction of other puppies in the classroom, we have found this blend of learning to be super effective as it allows for owners to work on core skills within their own time.
In online sessions you will have access to a Qualified Behavioural consultant to ask any questions you may wish, this is a massive cost saving.
We cover subjects in more detail then can be done in a classroom including learning body language, discussing toilet training and common issues that arise.
You can train along with us with your dog in a comfortable environment.
Private Online Behavioural Consultations are available by request.
All sessions are recorded and sent to you so you can watch them at any time.

Tuition
We offer a range of private tuition bespoke to your requirements.
We build fun and interactive programs that are easy to follow, covering all the behaviours you wish to target such as recall, attention and motivation, walking on leash and many more.
We can arrange for a trainer to meet you on location, or your sessions can be held at our fantastic training school with safe enclosed facilities.

Scent Training
Tracking and Trailing across picturesque fields in St. Ouen, our scent training courses truly give you a relaxing and enjoyable experience with your dog, great for environmental enrichment, and bonding for both dog and owner.
Trick Training
A fantastic way for dogs and owners to bond and learn new skills. Suitable for dogs of all ages and types as course will be bespoke.
Co-Operative Care
Learning skills that help your dog to be able to give consent and be comfortable during handling for veterinary exams and grooming. Out Co-Operative care programs have a high rate of success.
Confidence Building Miniature Agility
Our Confidence Course has been built at a low height level to make it accessible to all dogs.
